During World War II, more than 120,000 Japanese-Americans, most of them United States citizens, were removed--by executive order of President Roosevelt--from their American homes and relocated to far-off internment camps.  Many of you already know this sad story and have drawn the parallels, however incomplete, to what happened to us on our ancestral lands.
